I am a PhD student in the Translational Neuropsychology Group. My research interests are focused on service improvement and intervention development in acquired brain injury. Informed by the Medical Research Council framework for complex intervention research, I am currently using a mixed methods approach to (i) identify gaps in services for cognitive impairment after stroke, (ii) develop an intervention to (partially) fill these gaps using a co-production approach, and (iii) design a pilot study that aims to establish whether the intervention is feasible to be tested in a randomised controlled trial. I am committed to integrating stakeholder perspectives meaningfully at each and every stage of the intervention development/evaluation process and in research more broadly.
