ENRICH

ENhanced Reviews of psychologIcal CHanges after stroke.

The ENRICH intervention aims to provide a LEVEL 1 care-pathway for managing and monitoring psychological changes after stroke, including 3 repeated enhanced reviews at 1, 3 and 6 months post-stroke.

At its core, the reviews focus on Psychological changes after stroke (cognition, mood, fatigue) and provide:

  • Assessment & Evaluation
  • Psycho – education
  • Support (self management & referring)


The study is funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (Advanced Fellowship NIHR302224)

Study Aims

This feasibility study sets out to investigate :
1.the acceptability and feasibility of ENRICH reviews themselves and the service level carepathway change (Reviews at 1,3,6 months) for healthcare professionals and stroke services administering ENRICH reviews, and for stroke survivors and carers receiving.
2. the feasibility of a future cluster randomised trial
